A quick, easy and healthy fruit based dessert to please everyone! Serve with yogurt or ice cream!
1-1.5 cups blueberries (frozen)
1-2 cans of fruit in juice, drained or fresh sliced apples with peel on
2 cups quick oats
½ cup flour
2 Tbsp brown sugar
¼ cup almonds, coarsely chopped
1-2 tsp cinnamon
¼ cup non hydrogenated margarine or butter
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, almonds and cinnamon until blended. Using your hands or a pastry cutter blend in margarine or butter until evenly crumbly
- Spray casserole dish lightly with non stick spray and place fruit in dish
- Top with crumble topping and gently pat down
- Place in oven for about 30min or until lightly golden
